The scaffolding is down! Well, almost.

A whole lot of work went into the restoration of this facade.  It might not be readily apparent in these photos, but up close - it is really great. The fact that you can't really see any of the big repair areas, and that the tuck pointing is beautifully done is all a testament to Jan Glowacki and his guys at PMR Masonry Restoration Services. The windows are almost ready to order - lots of back and forth on getting this correct, especially with the unusual sizes and shapes - but we are now very close.  Same for the door, which is ten feet tall and will be Honduran Mahogany with sidelites and a glass radius transom. All of the windows will retain the original configuration, including two original stained glass inserts on the second floor.  More photos in the Photo Archive (if you aren't seeing the links to the photo archive, you are using the mobile blog version.  Go all the way to the bottom of the page and choose the link that says "go to Web version".  Not sure why this is happening, but apparently it is a 'thing').
