Here's something new ! Instead of all these photos of bare stud walls and masonry, the big excitement this week is that the old, timberframe "Chicago Back Porch" is coming down, never to be seen again. There will be a deck that extends out from the Kitchen, covering a Garden level walk out - but nothing on the second floor. Here are a few photos of the beginning of this process... the rest should be down by Monday afternoon. Also visible are all the new windows going in.
