It was a weekend of getting the media room sorted out, now that floors and walls are finally finished off. 5 gallons of concrete sealer went down on top of that stained surface before it looked finished. My old furniture came in from the garage, so there is finally a spot to sit and have a nap or perhaps watch a movie. The sound system is just 'kind of" set up, the projector is sitting on a wire shelf for the moment, these are all next step things for this room. But it is mildly functional, and that is some cause for happiness.

Outside the doors in the above photos, there is an egress area under the deck for light, air and an escape route in the event of fire. Unfortunately that also brings with it a way in. The metal security screening here adds a sense of security. Glad the door will have a lock.
