 More drywall arrived yesterday.  In fact, there are now stacks of drywall all over the house.  The high tech HVAC systems await installation of some heavy equipment on the roof and in the mechanical room, and that will be off the list.  There is a 'template front door' - a mock-up of the real thing, that should show up today or tomorrow, for a fitting check and to serve as a temporary entry way.

Other fine bits are coming along as well.  CAT-5 data cabling was run in between every video display outlet (do we still call them televisions?) and the data closet in the media room. There will of course be wifi, but why clog the wifi with video traffic when this can be provided by a wired connection with better performance?

In-ceiling speaker cabling was also run to four ceiling mounted speaker locations in the kitchen, two in the dining room, two outdoor, and two in the second floor stairwell.  These terminate in a kitchen cabinet location where a Crestron distributed audio amp will switch and drive them.
